In January-July 2024, local exports from Georgia, that is, exports without re-exports, declined by 7.2% annually and stood at $1 billion 587 million.
The main market for sales of Georgian products is Russia which accounts for more than a fifth of the total domestic exports.
The largest exporters are:
• Russia - $325.8 million;
• Turkey - $258.9 million;
• China - $156.9 million;
• Armenia - $83.6 million;
• USA - $81.7 million;
• Azerbaijan - $69.3 million;
• Switzerland - $58.4 million;
• Ukraine - $50.2 million;
• Kazakhstan - $42.8 million;
• Bulgaria - $38.7 million.
In January-July 2024, ferroalloys are on the first place among the top ten local export commodities with $201.1 mln making 12.7 percent of the total local exports. Natural grape wines are the second with $173.7 million (10.9 percent of the total local exports), precious metal ores and concentrates are the third with $117.2 million (7.4 percent of total domestic exports).
