Georgia's tourism revenue saw a 0.5% increase in the first quarter of 2026, reaching US$829.8 million compared to the same period last year.
EU countries accounted for 17.0% of international tourism income in Q1 2026, reaching US$140.7 million, up 36.4% from the previous year.
Statistically, revenues from travel to Turkey and Ukraine rose 12.2% and 34.2% year-on-year, to 120.1million and 45.3 million respectively. Due to the war in the Middle East, tourism receipts from Israel dropped 13.4% year-on-year to $98.9 million.
