According to Sakstat, apart from a decline in honey exports last year, the value of products in the global market has soared.

In 2023, honey from Georgia was exported to 15 countries,

the main exporting market is France, which accounted for 37.2% of the total exports last year.

Georgia saw a decline in imports as well. In 2023, the country purchased 5.74 tons of honey worth $36.61 thousand. Compared to the results of 2023, last year's imports were 82% lower in terms of quantity and 56.2% lower in value.

In 2023, Georgia bought honey from six countries, the main importing country was France which accounts for 22.3% of the honey imports.
