Gold, silver prices in global markets are setting new records. As of 2:00 pm Tbilisi time on October 15, an ounce of gold is worth $ 4,198 that is 12.43% more than in the previous month. At the same time, an ounce of silver is traded for $52.66 that is 21.92% more than last month.
Precious metal is getting more expensive in Georgia as well. In the last week alone, prices rose by more than 4%. In particular, according to the latest data, the price of 1 gram of gold 999 samples on the stock exchange fluctuates within 370 GEL (a week ago - 357.44 GEL); the value of gold 750 samples is 277.84 GEL (a week ago - 268.11 GEL); and gold 585 samples can be bought for 216.71 GEL (a week ago — for 209.12 GEL).
Silver has also risen in price. If a week ago a gram of silver 925 was worth 4.11 GEL, today its price is 4.72 GEL, gold 800 samples has gone up from 3.55 GEL to 3.77 GEL.
