In the first quarter of 2023, a positive trend in the number of passengers carried by Georgia's transport industries (road, rail, civil aviation) was observed. The total number of passengers stood at  85.8 million that is 1.5% more than in the same period of 2022.

The largest number of passengers was transported by road - 84.3 million that is 0.8% more than in the same period of 2022. In the first quarter of 2023, Georgian international airports served 1.0 million passengers that is 48.6% more than in the same period of 2022. Georgian Railway transported 0.5 million passengers from January to March 2023 that  is 98.3% more compared to the same period of 2022.
