In the first 10 months of 2023, Georgia earned $217.3 million in revenue from wine sales.
The official statistics show that natural grape wines took third place in Georgia’s top ten export commodities with a 4.3% share.
Wine exports are growing by an average of 8.2% annually. It’s worth mentioning that the volume of exported wine was higher in 10 months of 2022. This year, 75,726 tons of wine were exported that is 4% less than last year.
Russia has been the dominant buyer of Georgian wine for many years. In January-October 2023, Russia accounted for 66% of the total exports.

Poland - $11.7 million, 4652 tons;
Ukraine – $11.6 million, 4,158 tons;
China – $9.4 million, 2632 tons;
Kazakhstan – $8.1 million, 2,599 tons;
Belarus – $6.2 million, 2,177 tons;
USA - $4.2 million, 680 tons;
Germany – $3.2 million, 876 tons;
Latvia – $3.2 million, 948 tons;
Lithuania - $1.8 million, 547 ton.
