MP, businessman Anton Obolashvili is set to build a restaurant in the recreation area near Mushtaidi Park.
According to the Architecture Service, extends to the project plot of land is located in Tbilisi, on Tsabadze Street, adjacent to Mushtaidi Garden, where a restaurant is set to be built.
"Functional zone-RZ2 (recreational zone 2) extends to a land plot ,on which, on the basis of a special zoning agreement, it is planned to place a building with an acceptable function – a restaurant.
Due to the fact that the land plot is separated from the Mushtaidi Garden, it is subject to restriction zones: the zone of regulation of historical development (IST-2) and the cultural monument protection zone.
The National Agency for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Georgia established that there is no cultural heritage monument on the project land plot.
There are two residential buildings and two small non-residential buildings on the study zone. The buildings were built at different times, have not preserved their original appearance,
have extensions of various types built up chaotically and have no architectural value. It is planned to dismantle the existing buildings and build a restaurant on this site. The study established that such a building
will not disturb the existing development,but on the contrary, will resolve the existing chaotic buildings, improve the architectural and urban appearance, and will fit into the overall picture," says the explanatory note to the project.
According to the Municipal Services Development Agency, the company that owns the territory, OOO Globalpharm, applied for a special (zonal) agreement on the placement of the restaurant, although its request has not yet been considered. Anton Obolashvili is the owner of 100% of OOO Globalpharm shares, the manager of his share is Lia Obolashvili.
