Georgian sewing company based in Kutaisi has ended its partnership with the Italian brand "Moncler" this summer. "Commersant" was interested in what was the reason for breaking the cooperation. Maya Simonidze, Director of "Imeri" refrains from specifying the details in the conversation with "Commersant" because of the lack of the necessary consent from "Moncler".
"We don't have permission from them to comment on the cooperation. We were banned and I can't tell you anything because that's what they want. We broke off cooperation back in the summer. I know the reason, but we were asked not to talk about it from the very beginning. This is their policy," Maya Simonidze notes.
The Kutaisi-based Imeri company is currently collaborating with a Bulgarian company and a Georgian designer. Avtandil clothes are sewn at Imeri factory.
"We cooperate with another European company as well as with the Georgian designer Avtandil and a Bulgarian company," says Maya Simonidze.
