The number of microfinance organizations has decreased, while the number of employees has increased. According to the consolidated reports of MFOs published on the National Bank’s site, in the third quarter of 2023, microfinance organizations employed 4,443 people, in the same period of last year - 4,264.
It’s worth mentioning that in the third quarter, 34 MISOs operated in the counry against 37 in the same period of 2022.
