If we want to bring luxury brands to Georgia, then we should build relationships with Europe," ICR Group founder, businessman Kakha Khazaradze, told Business Press News.

"Luxury brand consumers are mainly Europeans. Naturally, in addition to Europeans, these brands have fans in  China. But if we want to attract them to Georgia, we should establish relations with Europe.

Expensive brands cannot bring rich Chinese to the country. For this, appropriate infrastructure and services are needed that Georgia does not have at this stage," Kakha Khazaradze notes. In his words, middle-class vacationers who spend little money currently come to Georgia .

"A few days ago I returned from a business trip and when I looked at the tourists at the airport, it was clear that the country is visited mainly by middle-class vacationers.

There is much to be done, it is not easy to bring luxury brands to the market in one fell swoop. Prerequisites are needed, first of all, strong and promising relations with Europe that is a problem today as many issues are frozen and tied to the elections," Kakha Khazaradze says.
