Health insurance accounts for the highest share of premiums in the insurance market, namely 42.39 percent. This figure has increased slightly compared to the previous year (42.02%). Car insurance is in second place with 20.35%, property insurance is in third place with a share of 10.50%- the State Insurance Supervision Service reports.
According to statistics, in 2024, insurance companies attracted investments in the amount of 1,259,396,138 GEL In the same period, the insurance profit of insurers stood at 307 million GEL, the net profit – at 127 million GEL. (In the same period of 2023, the net profit was 73.5 million).
