Demand for our products has grown by about 35% compared to the same period last year, Kote Svanidze, founder of Kodala, says.

According to him, 80% of the company's products are currently sold on the domestic market, 20% on the foreign market.

"Demand in the local market is growing strongly. In the future, we plan to expand the range and provide new services to customers. We have launched an internship program, within the framework of which we want to retrain staff, as well as train those who want in various areas. This is one of the ways to fill the staff shortage. We mainly focus on citizens aged 18 to 30," Kote Svanidze notes.

As for export plans, the company currently sells its products on Amazon Germany, but is actively working to increase its export potential.

"We are working in the Asian direction and are set to pour certain investments in this country. We do not want to specify the country yet but can say that the work is actively underway and plan to open a representative office in this country."

We are represented on Amazon Germany. This is a very large market with high competition. As you know, our company is not a large manufacturer. "We have the status of a small and medium business, we believe that with the growth of this status we will be able to more aggressively enter the European and not only European market," Kote Svanidze stresses.

"Kodala" is a social enterprise that mainly employs people with disabilities. The company has been operating since 2016 and produces about 200 types of environmentally friendly wooden toys, decorative items and children's wooden furniture. When fully loaded, the factory can produce from 8,000 to 10,000 units of toys per month. The products prices range from GEL 5 to 99.
