In nine months of 2024, Georgia purchased 5,432 tons of coffee worth USD 27.1 million against  5,693 tons of coffee worth of 22.8 million USD in the same period of the last year.

It turns out that this year, Georgia paid 4.99 USD for one kg of coffee, this year coffee exports to Georgia have become more expensive by 19.6% (4.01 USD last year) .

Price hikes can be caused by a global trend. Due to supply chain disruptions and climatic conditions, coffee price has surged in the world, including Robusta coffee, which hit a 45-year high.
