The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) announced that 33,077 aftershocks were recorded following the earthquake in the southern province of Kahramanmaraş on February 6.

And AFAD added, in a statement  evening, that these tremors occurred from February 6 to May 6.

It confirmed that it monitors seismic activity in and around Türkiye around the clock.
