According to official statistics from the Social Service Agency, the number of subsistence allowance recipients decreased from 710,226 to 576,902 in January-July 2026.


Consequently, the number of recipients fell by 133,324 over the seven-month period.
The statistics show that  the subsistence allowance was provided to the following categories of individuals:

The number of recipients was as follows: 710,226 in January; 709,458 in February; 667,793 in March; 645,920 in April; 605,033 in May; 584,137 in June; and 576,902 in July.

Over the same period, the number of families receiving living assistance dropped from 184,921 to 145,391.
