In the period from January 1, 2024 to September 27, 2024, a total of 79,883 fines were issued for traveling without a ticket by all three types of municipal transport: metro, minibus and bus.
As "Interpressnews" was informed in response to the requested information from the Tbilisi Transport and Urban Development Agency, the amount of fines issued is 1,597,660 GEL.
According to official information, in 2024, the most - 58,844 fines were issued for traveling by bus without a ticket.
Note: in Tbilisi, a 20 GEL fine is imposed for traveling by municipal transport without a ticket.
