In 2022-2023 the number of students who stopped studying at school reached 14 911, including 8 502 boys and 6 409 girls- the National Statistics Office reports.
According to Sakstat, the largest number of students left school in the tenth grade, both among girls and boys.
The data for the years 2022-2023 is significantly higher than the data for the previous years.
The smallest number, 7 050 students, left school in 2020-2021, i.e. during the Covid pandemic.
