President of Georgia Zurabishvili made another profound statement. According to her, if Ukraine does not resist, Georgia and the Baltic countries may be the next to be attacked by Russia, Grigory Karasin, head of the International Affairs Committee of the Council of the Russian Federation, said.
According to him, Ukraine is the last frontier where a bridgehead was created for confrontation with Russia.
"Political schizophrenia is difficult to cure, Madam President! Why not mention more distant targets in this case - Germany, Switzerland or Malta? Isn't it easy to remember, after the end of the Cold War and the promise that NATO would not expand eastward, how the NATO military-political bloc and its tentacles in the form of non-governmental structures started approaching Russia by leaps. They have already closed a tight ring around our country. Ukraine is the last frontier where a bridgehead for confrontation with Russia has been created. Its goals are also clear. So it is not worth scaring yourself!" Karasin said.
Before that, Karasin called Salome Zurabishvili a "strange politician". According to him, the President of Georgia "received strict instructions in Washington".
