Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the first international summit on space issues in Paris at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, the government administration reports.

The summit, co-chaired by France and Germany, will focus on science, research, security and defense issues.

The Head of the Georgian Government will also attend an official reception hosted by the President of the French Republic in honor of the leaders participating in the summit.

The Prime Minister of Georgia traveled to the Republic of France with a delegation consisting of Deputy Prime Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Minister of Defense Irakli Chikovani, and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
