Direct flights between Russia and Georgia may become more active, Grigory Karasin, the head of the Russian Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, said.

"There is a question of activating air traffic, including direct flights. This process is underway, but there is no need to accelerate it," said Grigory Karasin.

According to him, "it would be great to resolve the issue of restoring diplomatic relations between Russia and Georgia right now."

"I think Moscow and Tbilisi understand each other well. The main thing is to ensure that these relations are not hindered by the Europeans, who are now forcing Zelensky to do unreasonable things. They are trying to take Georgia into their own hands," Karasin noted.
