Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has canceled his scheduled meeting with Elina Valtonen, the OSCE Acting Chairperson and Finland’s Foreign Minister, who is currently visiting Georgia.
"Yesterday, due to participation in an illegal rally and making false statements, the Prime Minister canceled the scheduled meeting with the Finnish Foreign Minister," reads the statement from the Georgian government.
As a reminder, yesterday, Elina Valtonen, the OSCE Acting Chairperson and Finland’s Foreign Minister, attended the rally near the Parliament. Valtonen spoke with the protest participants. As the rally participants stated, they discussed the content of their protest and their plans with the OSCE Chairperson.
