In February, 95% of the hotel rooms have already been booked, - the founder of the Gudauri Diamond hotel Giorgi Khutsishvili states.
According to him, the number of vacationers in Gudauri in winter increases annually and adds that during the New Year’s holidays the hotel operated at 100% capacity.
"There are always vacationers in Gudauri during the New Year holidays, but compared to the winter season of 2023, the number has soared by about 30%. Our hotel operated at 100% capacity during the New Year period. 100% of our customers are foreigners, including from Europe and neighboring countries.
The ongoing tensions in the country definitely affect our business. Clients got me in touch expressing safety concerns, but we assure them that the trip and arrival in Georgia are safe," Giorgi Khutsishvili notes.
The hotel founder says that Gudauri has infrastructure problems, as soon as they will be solved, tourist interest in the resort will increase.
Note: Gudauri Diamond hotel has been operating on the market for 4 years and includes 12 hotel rooms. In total, the hotel can accommodate 30 guests.
