In the third quarter of 2023, commercial banks received assets of more than GEL 102 billion pledged as security. Assets include both real estate and movable property, precious metals, securities, etc. Housing accounted for almost a third of the assets.

The largest volume of assets pledged as collateral (real estate, cash, precious metals) is on the account of "TBC Bank" - GEL 44.8 billion, followed by "Bank of Georgia" with GEL 34.8 billion, the third is "Liberty Bank" with GEL 5.5 billion.

• "Bank of Georgia" - in the third quarter of 2023 - 34.8 billion GEL, in the third quarter of 2022 - 34.5 billion GEL.

• "Liberty Bank" - in the third quarter of 2023 - 5.5 billion GEL, in the third quarter of 2022 - 5.7 billion GEL.

"Terabank" - in the third quarter of 2023 - 4.5 billion GEL, in the third quarter of 2022 – a volume is not specified.


• "Basisbank" - in the third quarter of 2023 - 4.3 billion GEL, in the third quarter of 2022 - 4.2 billion GEL.


• "Cartu Bank" - in the third quarter of 2023 - 2.2 billion GEL, in the third quarter of 2022 - 2.16 billion GEL.


• "VTB Bank" - in the third quarter of 2023 - 1.7 billion GEL, in the third quarter of 2022 - 2 billion GEL.
