According to the financial results of the first 4 months of 2024, the credit portfolio of 17 commercial banks operating in Georgia is 55.5 billion GEL. Two largest banks account for 76.5% of the loans, the three largest banks- 82% of the total loans.
Of the total loans, 18.7 billion GEL are corporate loans, 9.1 billion GEL are loans issued to small and medium businesses, 7.5 billion GEL are microbusiness loans, and 20.2 billion GEL are loans issued to individuals.
