«Bank of Georgia» again ranks first in terms of profits, with a profit of GEL 1.09 billion for the first 7 months of 2025, up 9.5% compared to the same period last year. In second place is «TBC Bank» with GEL 795 million, up 1.8% compared to the same period last year. «Liberty Bank» still ranks third with GEL 85.7 million that is 13.2% more than in previous year.
As for the banks on the bottom of the rating, 4 commercial banks are operating at a loss, the largest of which is VTB Bank whose activities have been effectively suspended due to the sanctions imposed in February 2022 with a loss of 43.8 million GEL.
