According to the 2023 first quarter budget performance report, during this period the Georgian government has already spent GEL 313 million to service foreign debt.
From the amount, GEL 261 million was used to cover the loan principal, the rest GEL 52 million was interest. Georgia paid the largest amount of GEL 128.7 million to the Asian Development Bank, including GEL 14 million interest on the loan.
Georgia has the largest debt in the amount of $2 billion to the Asian Development Bank, followed by the World Bank with $1.99 billion.
EBRD is also in the top three with $20.7 million, of which interest is GEL3 million.
