According to preliminary data, FDI volume in Georgia amounted to $ 505.7 million in the second quarter of 2023 that is 29.9% more than the adjusted data for the 2nd quarter of 2022.

Sakstat reports that in the 2nd quarter of 2023, the equity capital decreased by 23.3 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and stood at $ 72.9 million making 14.4 percent of the total FDI. Reinvestment amounted to $422.5 mln making 83.5 percent.

In the 2nd quarter of 2023, Georgia’s largest investors are:

• United Kingdom - $168.3 million,

• Turkey - $71 million,

• Netherlands - $62.7 million,

• Czech Republic - $55.6 million,

• Malta - $36.7 million,

• Russia - $28.1 million,

• USA - $15.5 million,

• United Arab Emirates - $11.7 million,

• Japan - $10.5 million,

• Azerbaijan - $9.1 million.
