The number of visitors from Israel increased by 35.7%. According to data published by the National Tourism Administration, 171,294 Israeli citizens arrived in Georgia in January-June against 126,213 in the same period of last year.
Statistics show that an Israeli citizen spends an average of $1,412 in Georgia. NBG reports that in the first half of this year, the country earned $241.9 million in revenue from Israeli visitors compared to $175.4 million in the same period of last year.
