According to official data, 2 195 permissions granted were issued in January-March, 2023 (1.5 percent less compared to the previous year) for construction of buildings of 1 689.9 thousand square meters (11.4 percent more compared to the previous year).
It’s worth mentioning that 74.9 percent of the total permits have been issued in 4 regions of the country, namely: 49.2 percent in Tbilisi, 10.1 percent -in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, 8.5 percent - in Kvemo Kartli region, 7.1 percent –in Imereti region.
