External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 17 915.6 million in January-August 2026, 8.3 percent higher year-on-year.
The value of export increased by 22.1 percent reaching USD 5 422.6 million, while the import increased by 3.3 percent and amounted to USD 12 493.0 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 7 070.5 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 39.5 percent.
