Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Turkey, on Monday, stressed the need for fast renewal of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line “to maximize its effectiveness.”
After meeting with Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, Erdoğan told the media pool that countries should focus on developing their transportation and energy capacity “during a period of significant problems.”
Erdoğan also expressed optimism that the peace accord between Azerbaijan and Armenia would bring peace and stability to the region and the world.
