"We are actively accepting advance bookings; the hotel is 70% booked for March," Gudauri Lodge Director Andro Vlasov says.

According to him, 100% of bookings are from abroad adding that the hotel's guests are mainly from the Middle East, Israel, Russia.

"2024 was a very successful year for our hotel. We finished the year with 50% occupancy. The hotel occupancy during the New Year period was 100%. Considering that Gudauri is a winter resort, our hotel actually operates at maximum occupancy during this period, we expect this period good results will be repeated in March as well.

Gudauri resort is not busy during the summer, and we did not expect high occupancy during this period. Accordingly, it is likely that there will be the same level of activity as in previous years,” says Andro Vlasov.

Apart from that, the hotel director notes that this year the hotel room prices have increasedby 30% amid high demand.

Andro Vlasov also spoke about MICE tourism trends.

"There was no demand for MICE tourism, although even if there were, we would have refused, since during the season we focus on individual bookings. In the summer season, demand for this segment is relatively frequent, although Kakheti and Adjara mainly work in it. Sometimes we also accept some groups," says the hotel director.
