Rustavi-2 TV company reported about a group of hackers who were detained in the United States in a case involving a resonant cybercrime and accused of stealing  $ 100 million from 41,000 bank accounts.

The group consisted of two Georgian citizens who had already been detained.

According to Rustavi-2, VTB-Georgia was among the victims from which accounts several tens of thousands of dollars were stolen.

The bank's management called the information a lie saying that no client has ever suffered from hacker attacks, and the Rustavi-2 reports are not true.
