to the National bank of Georgia (NBG), a volume of overdue loans has
increased by GEL 13.6 million in May and amounted to GEL 506.2 million.
According to the NBG, their share in commercial banks'
credit portfolio was 1.5%.
It’s worth mentioning that 34.1 percent of the overdue loans are denominated in the national currency.
In the reporting period, the
dollarization rate of the total loan portfolio increased by 0.1 percentage
points to 57.6 percent.
