Tourism revenue up $ 127.1 million in October

The National Bank of Georgia has published an overview of Georgia’s macroeconomic environment.

According to the document, in October Georgia received a total of $ 142.3 million in tourism revenues that is $ 127.1 million more than in the same period  of last year.

October revenues lag behind the data of the previous month, in September Georgia received $ 161.9 million in tourism revenues that is natural as  the number of tourists  as well as  revenue volumes decreases after the summer. In the first 10 months of 2021, total  revenues from tourism exceeded $ 1 billion.


Note: This  October a total of 188,800 visitors arrived in Georgia that  is 144,300 more than in the same period of last year, and 20,800 less than in the previous month.
