The National Bank of Georgia has published the financial indicators of commercial banks in the second quarter of 2021. According to the data, commercial banks operating in Georgia appropriated movable and immovable property worth GEL 255,501,871 as payment of debts on loans.
In the second quarter of 2021, Bank of Georgia appropriated property worth GEL 99,459,385 against GEL 97,601,889 in the same period of last year. TBC Bank appropriated movable property and immovable property worth GEL 99,164,266 in the same period that is GEL 22,363,570 less than in the same period of last year. As of June 30, 2021, two major banks account for 77.7% of the property appropriated by banks (GEL 198,623,651).
The third is VTB Bank that appropriated real estate worth GEL 19,439,190 that is about GEL 10 million more compared to the data of the two quarters of 2020. Followed by Basisbank with GEL 18,333,543, Halyk Bank Georgia (GEL 10,567,632).
