Georgian Finance Minister issued on May 31, 2019 the
instruction on the movement and registration of the goods brought into the
customs territory of Georgia, according to which, the
"Golden List" of the companies has been abolished and businesses will
have to pay the import duties within 5 days instead of 30 days.
More specifically, on the Finance Minister’s decision on the approval of instructions on the movement and declaration of goods on the customs territory of Georgia, the amendment was made to the Finance Minister’s decree№290 of July 26, 2012, according to which the 5-day period of import duties will cover the "Golden List" goods and imports declared in advance (instead of the previous 15-day deadline).
