The Lithuanian company is set to build a solar power plant in Tbilisi.
According to the Georgian Energy and Environment Association, the Lithuanian company Saulės grąža, which is part of the Ministry of Ecology, has already signed an agreement to carry out environmental protection projects in Georgia.
The agreement includes the construction of the solar power plant to boost environmentally friendly renewable energy sources in the country. The power plant is planned to be built this March.
“The solar power plant will be built near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and will fully provide the department with electricity. The equipment to monitor the efficiency of the power plant will also be installed, ” director of the company Mindaugas Gerulaitis says.
In his words, the power plant will be built in the city nearby the Ministry of Internal Affairs and will be useful both for the city residents and foreign delegations.
