Shops to reopen on June 1 in Georgia

All types of shops, including shopping malls, will be reopen from June 1, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated about it at the sitting of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council on COVID-19 today.


He said that from June 1, all outdoor and indoor markets and open-air restaurants will also resume their works.


The Prime Minister noted that restaurants will resume all services from June 8.

"From June 8, all kinds of services will be resumed in restaurants, as well as hotels that will be inspected by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Health and will have the appropriate permits”, PM Gakharia said.


According to the Prime Minister, intercity transport will also resume from June 8.
