November 7, at 9.15 pm the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair operated its first
flight to the city of Marseille from Kutaisi airport.
Another direction - Bologna will also be added from November 9, the flights will be performed from Kutaisi twice a week.
Apart rom that, the airline will fly from Tbilisi to Milan 4 times a week, starting from April 2020 in the direction of Cologne twice a week.
Negotiations to attract Ryanair to Georgia have been held for almost 10 years, and ended on August 21, 2019. The head of the Georgian Airports Association and Director General of the Irish airline have signed an agreement to start Ryanair's operations in Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports.
The airline operates flights by Boeing 737.
