Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and Minister of Education Mikheil Batiashvili will appear before the lawmakers today. The Parliament will hear the PM and the Education Minister within the new oversight mechanism – interpellation.
Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze was summoned by the opposition “National Movement” party under the rule of interpellation. The opposition lawmakers intend to ask the Prime Minister questions about the country's worsening crime situation.
As for the Education Minister, the MPs will ask him about the salaries of teachers and the initiative to cancel school exams.
