"Banguriani" hotel located in Mestia plans to expand by 2024.
Levan Jojua, the financial director of the hotel, says that the number of the hotel rooms are planned to increase to 120. Currently, the hotel has 36 rooms. The company has already prepared an architectural sketch.
In Levan Jojua’s words, the project was planned to be realized in the past years but due to the pandemic, was brought to a standstill. Last year, Jojua said that about $ 2.5 million to be invested in the project but now "Banguriani" financial director notes that the investment amount may be adjusted.
He adds that during the pandemic, the hotel lost about a million laris. But the situation has changed for the better, however, the hotel is still paying off its obligations.
