Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia nominated Mikheil Daushvili for the post
of Business Ombudsman. As the Prime Minister said at the beginning of the
government meeting, this person is to be
proud of and very important for him.
particularly proud of Mikheil Daushvili, he has been appointed as Business
Ombudsman since today, as we have always said, strong Georgian business is the
most important of our biggest economic challenges that will boost additional jobs
creation, will help reduce poverty. Everyone should realize that business
support will be the main task of Mikheil Daushvili and I am confident that he
will perform this task with dignity.
At the same time, I would like to tell every
businessman, the private sector representative, large, medium-sized or small business
and assure that all the problems brought to Mikheil Daushvili will be submitted in the Prime Minister's office within a few
minutes, so the effective cooperation between the executive authorities and the
business ombudsman’s office is very important. So I would like to ask my
colleagues to actively cooperate with the Business Ombudsman’s Office.
Recall that Mikheil Daushvili held the position of Director of
Information-Analytical Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Irakli Lekvinadze
submitted his resignation on November 8.
