Georgia's Subsistence Minimum Increased to GEL 194.8

The subsistence wage in December 2019 rose by GEL 19.8 compared to December 2018 and amounted to GEL 194.8 and decreased from GEL 195.6  compared with November 2019.

The average families  living  wage made  GEL 172.5, three-member family – GEL 310.6, six-member family – GEL 459.

The subsistence wage is calculated based on the consumer basket that includes 40 products (bread, meat, milk, confectionaries, vegetables and so on).
