Georgia’s imports down 3.1 percent in January-October

In January-October 2019, Georgia’s foreign trade turnover (excluding undeclared trade) amounted to $ 10 367.3 mln, which is 0.5 percent more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to the National Statistical Office, exports amounted to $ 3 035.7 million ( 10.4 percent more), while imports totaled $ 7 331.6 million (3.1 percent less). The negative trade balance in January-October 2019 made  $ 4 295.8 million and foreign trade turnover amounted to 41.4 percent.
