Georgia's GDP grew by 4.5% to GEL 11 bln in Q 2,2019

According to the National Statistical Office, a 17.9% growth was observed in the transport sector  compared to the same period of 2018, the real estate sector grew by 16.9%, hotels and restaurants - 14.1%, energy sector-  11.5%, communications - by 10.8%, health care - by 9, 3%, trade -  7, 4%, agriculture -  2, 1%.

A decline  was recorded in education - 7.9%, mining - 7.7%, construction - 4.6%, in the processing industry - 4.5%.

Trade accounts for the largest share of 16.8% of GDP,  industry - 16.4%.

 


Followed by transport and communications - 10,9%, construction - 8, 8%, agriculture - 8, 4%, state administration - 7, 8%, real estate - 7, 4%.
