Georgia’s foreign trade up 12%

According to the National Statistical Office of Georgia, in January-August 2019   Georgia’s  foreign trade turnover (without undeclared trade) amounted to USD 8 126.1 billion which is  0.01 percent more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Exports amounted to USD  2 411.6 million (12.4 percent more) and import – USD  5 714.5 million (4.4 percent more).

Negative trade balance in January-August made up  USD  3 302.9 mln or  40.6 percent of foreign trade turnover.
