Georgia’s foreign debt climbed $ 164,248 mln in one month

As of August 31, Georgia’s foreign debt exceeded  $ 6,758 billion or  GEL 20,746 that is $ 164,248 million more compared with the previous month.

 

In particular, as of July 31, 2020, Georgia's public external debt exceeded $ 6.594 billion or GEL 20.257 billion.



The country’s largest creditors are the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Bank (WB) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)
 and the International Development Association (IDA)
.

Georgia’s debt to the IDA is $ 925,794 million, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development - $ 1,014 billion and the Asian Development Bank exceeds $ 1,432 billion.
