Georgia’s exports grow primarily at the expense of copper ores, vehicles and wine

According to the National Statistical Office, in January-October 2019 copper ores and concentrates were the top ten export commodity products that the country sent overseas in January-October 2019 reaching $ 528.5 million  and 17.4 percent of total exports. The second place is occupied by vehicles which exports amounted to  $ 522.5 million (17.2 percent of total exports), ferroalloys are the third with $ 251.7 million (8.3 percent).

The largest import commodity group in January-October 2019 included  oil and petroleum products which  imports amounted to $ 616.2 million and made 8.4 percent of total imports. The second place was occupied by vehicles  $ 529.5 million (7.2 percent of imports), and copper ore and concentrates are the third with $ 497.5 million (6.8 percent of the total imports).
