In
December 2021, Georgia’s air cargo market grew
by 4.97% compared to December 2019.
The Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reports that the volume of air cargo reached 2 219,063 tons in December 2021 against 2 015,893 tons in December 2020.
Cargo
turnover increased by 10.08% in
the reporting period.
In December 2021, cargo
turnover increased by
4.97% at Tbilisi International Airport
compared to December 2019 when
the airport handled 2,114,064 tons of cargo.
Recall that currently only Tbilisi International Airport handles freights from Georgian airports.
